1. Cut the yarn, leaving a tail of about 10 to 15 centimetres, and pull the yarn completely through the last stitch (without tying a knot).

2. Thread the yarn onto the tapestry needle.

3. Pass the needle only through the front loops of each of the remaining stitches, from the outside in.

4. Pull the yarn firmly so that the stitches come together and the hole closes completely.

5. Hide the yarn by pushing the needle through the centre of the closed ring and out to any other part of the doll to finish off.
